The Hedge Fund Journal, a leading monthly publication, has named BNP
Paribas’ Nathalie Texier-Guillot and Kirsty Gurr among this year’s 50 Leading
Women in Hedge Funds. As Head
of Institutional Sales for Equity Derivatives, Global Markets Americas, and Head
of Client Solutions, Prime Solutions
& Financing, EMEA, respectively, they were acknowledged for their
contribution to shaping the future of the hedge fund industry.
With more than 20 years of managerial experience in the financial
services, Nathalie Texier-Guillot drives the bank’s equity derivatives
commercial strategy, covering all client segments from hedge funds and insurance
firms to pension funds and asset managers. Recent achievements in the hedge
fund world include the roll out of BRIO, a BNP Paribas platform for delta one
products (financial products that provide one-for-one exposure to an underlying
asset), and the expansion of dispersion and alternative risk transactions
business (providing diversified investment solutions compared to traditional
investments).
Kirsty Gurr’s 30-year career in banking and finance spans prime
brokerage, client relationship management, FX trading and operations. She
oversees a team across the EMEA region, located in London, Paris and Frankfurt,
and is responsible for client on-boarding and relationship management across
the prime brokerage as well as the derivatives execution and clearing (DEC)
businesses.
Sponsored by Ernst & Young, the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds
report is now in its seventh year, recognising women who have made their mark
in the hedge fund industry. BNP Paribas congratulates both Nathalie and Kirsty for
this outstanding achievement.
