Two BNP Paribas leaders named among 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds

BNP Paribas leaders Nathalie Texier-Guillot and Kirsty Gurr are named among the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2019 by the Hedge Fund Journal.

The Hedge Fund Journal, a leading monthly publication, has named BNP Paribas’ Nathalie Texier-Guillot and Kirsty Gurr among this year’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds. As Head of Institutional Sales for Equity Derivatives, Global Markets Americas, and Head of Client Solutions, Prime Solutions & Financing, EMEA, respectively, they were acknowledged for their contribution to shaping the future of the hedge fund industry.

With more than 20 years of managerial experience in the financial services, Nathalie Texier-Guillot drives the bank’s equity derivatives commercial strategy, covering all client segments from hedge funds and insurance firms to pension funds and asset managers. Recent achievements in the hedge fund world include the roll out of BRIO, a BNP Paribas platform for delta one products (financial products that provide one-for-one exposure to an underlying asset), and the expansion of dispersion and alternative risk transactions business (providing diversified investment solutions compared to traditional investments).

Kirsty Gurr’s 30-year career in banking and finance spans prime brokerage, client relationship management, FX trading and operations. She oversees a team across the EMEA region, located in London, Paris and Frankfurt, and is responsible for client on-boarding and relationship management across the prime brokerage as well as the derivatives execution and clearing (DEC) businesses.
