Transforming the over-the counter (OTC) commodities market

Digitalisation is a key way to evolve markets and meet clients’ growing needs. BNP Paribas is a pioneer when it comes to digital solutions. The bank’s e-platform, Cortex CD, is an excellent example of how BNP Paribas is helping to digitalise commodities trading, an area which has traditionally lagged other markets.

“This recognition for Cortex CD as OTC Trading Platform of the Year is demonstration of its constant evolution”, commented Ronan Julien, eCOO for Commodity Derivatives at BNP Paribas. “We relentlessly enhance its features to meet clients’ needs and believe it is like no other platform on the market.”

A power house in base metals

BNP Paribas has won Base Metals House for the fifth consecutive year, demonstrating the bank’s unfaltering strength in this market. BNP Paribas’ ability to support clients throughout the pandemic and provide bespoke solutions to its clients globally proved invaluable to clients as they navigated the turbulent market conditions in 2020.
