For the second year in a row, BNP Paribas has been recognised as US Private Placement Agent of the Year in GlobalCapital’s Syndicated Loans Awards, as voted by private placement industry participants.

Key highlights of the win for US private placement agent of the year:
• BNP Paribas’ win is evidenced by its unrivalled structuring capabilities and global distribution network.
• BNP Paribas served as Joint Lead Placement Agent for GlobalCapital’s US Private Placement Deal of the Year for Vantage Towers’ outstanding debut private placement issuance.

Accolades for BNP Paribas’ client Vantage Towers’ US Private Placement Deal of the Year
GlobalCapital awarded this year’s US Private Placement Deal of the Year to BNP Paribas’ German client Vantage Towers, one of the largest European wireless telecom tower owners and operators across ten countries. Their €2 billion private placement debut supported the long-term refinancing of Vantage Towers’ essential digital infrastructure. BNP Paribas served as active Joint Lead Placement Agent for the transaction, which set multiple records in the private placement market.
The successful execution of the debut private placement was particularly significant given the distinctively turbulent market conditions in its market window – April 2025’s tariff announcements created challenges for conventional pricing guidance and navigation of global markets volatility. The BNP Paribas US private placements team’s extensive market knowledge across global investor regions and long-standing relationships in its diverse and broad investor network enabled it to maintain strong momentum with investors throughout the volatility of the period.
BNP Paribas leveraged its private distribution capabilities on both sides of the Atlantic through a range of customised roadshows, showcasing an execution strategy that focused on expanding Vantage Towers’ international investor base across continents, and bridging our institutional clients with additional access to infrastructure assets.
The substantial investor interest in the deal allowed Vantage Towers to upsize the transaction with accommodation for additional tranches, making it, at the time, the largest infrastructure private placement and largest non-U.S. dollar-denominated private placement on record, and ranking it as the fourth largest broadly syndicated private placement.

The Bank is dedicated to customising its clients’ access to capital with flexibility and the diversification of its clients’ funding sources. Supporting client Vantage Towers from its equity stock market listing to its debut senior public bond offering and other debt financings, to leading its debut private placement offering has exemplified the Bank’s commitment to facilitating its clients’ long-term capital needs and the seamless execution needed to bring these goals to fruition.
“A tremendous thank you to all our teams involved and to our clients for their confidence in our purpose-driven strategy to cohesively deliver superior outcomes for our issuer and investor clients,” said Brown. “Through our steadfast commitment and disciplined execution, we aim to continue solving for our clients’ needs and guiding the execution of innovative capital-raising strategies in private markets globally.”
