BNP Paribas has been named the top ‘On-Exchange Market Maker of the Year’ at the ETF Stream Awards, organised in partnership with Morningstar Indexes.

The awards, now in their fourth year, are a benchmark of the excellence of the European ETF industry. This year’s ceremony took place at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane on 28th November 2024, and was hosted by Tanya Beckett, a banker turned broadcaster presenting news and business programmes for the BBC.

The ETF Stream Awards act as a barometer of the industry’s growth and achievements over the past 12 months and aim to bring together and celebrate the European ETF ecosystem. The winners were those that are driving innovation and have been the most successful in delivering positive outcomes to clients.

On winning the award, Nicolas Marque, Head of Global Equities, at BNP Paribas commented: “We are delighted to have won this award, which is a testament to our unique capabilities in ETF trading, bringing together cutting-edge technology and unique product expertise to provide liquidity across underliers, venues and client types. This milestone further solidifies our position as the number one bank for ETFs in Europe, where we stand out for electronic market-making, flow trading and delta one trading. It also validates our strategy based on long-term partnerships with issuers.”
